Zotero plugin proxy configuration initiating proxying for *.on.worldcat.org

Users at institutions that support authentication to the Discovery interface at *.on.worldcat.org cannot authenticate when proxied (it is a man in the middle attack for SAML authentincation). At OCLC we have suddenly gotten a number of support requests for authentication failures and it seems that they may be related to Zotero initiating proxy mode without the user noticing.

I don't use the proxying mode in the browser bookmarks: is the user able to configure zotero to NOT proxy *.on.worldcat.org ? Or will we have to tell those users to disable all Zotero support for proying?

    Could one of your users provide a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector for the flow that breaks?

    They should
    1. Enable Debug Logging in Zotero Connector Preferences
    2. Open a new tab. Perform the navigation and attempt to login that causes issues.
    3. Switch back to Zotero Connector Preferences and submit the debug log and get a Debug ID.

    Post the Debug ID here.

    It's an indirect relationship, but i'll pass this on. From your response, it sounds like users of Zotero browser plug in cannot manually manage which sites are proxied.

    There's no way to blacklist hostnames at the moment, but we can add it if it's causing issues, or just add on.worldcat.org to a proxy blacklist. Still, we need to see additional information regarding this issue before we can confirm it's caused by us and if so, what's the best way to address it.
